Email setup – iPhone / iPad

You can set up your email account in a “client” on your ipad or a mobile device. We recommend using IMAP to set up your email account because it syncs your emails across all your devices and Webmail. Unlike POP, which downloads your emails and removes them from the server and Webmail.

1. Open Settings on your iPhone and tap Accounts & Passwords

2. Tap Add Account.
   
3. Select Otheras the account type.
   
4. Tap Add Mail Account.
   
5. Enter your name, email address, password, and a description for your account.
   
6. Choose IMAP for your new account.
7. Enter Incoming Mail Server and Outgoing Mail Server Setting.
   
   Incoming server:
   •  Host Name: mail.example.com
   •  Username: j.appleseed@example.com
   •  Password: ********

   Outgoing server:

   •  Host Name: mail.example.com
   •  Username: j.appleseed@example.com
   • Password: ********
8. Tap Save to finish. If the email settings are incorrect, you’ll be asked to edit them.
   Use the following settings:
9. • Incoming mail: Server mail.example.com with port 143 and the encryption method STARTTLS
   • Outgoing mail: Server mail.example.com with port 587 and the encryption method STARTTLS

Your account is set up and ready to use.
